Heritance Tea Factory (formerly Tea Factory) has been converted from a tea factory built by the British Raj decades ago and retains its original appearance on the outside. Within its four spacious levels howevder luxury prevails. Situated at an elevation of 6,800 ft.
with a breathtaking view of undulating green mountains and Hethersett tea gardens - the home of several rare species of birds, and flora is makes for an ideal choice. Heritance Tea Factory offers colonial-style rooms with views of the surrounding tea plantations and hills. It features a luxurious spa, tea-picking tours and a restaurant set in a train carriage.
The full-length windows that once helped to control the temperature for drying the leaves now ensure that the rooms are flooded with natural light, while providing spectacular views of the surrounding tea plantations.
Wood is a key element of the rooms, with doors, shelves and cupboards (plenty of them) left in their natural colours.
